Monarch Weddings & Events has seen all weddings and events over the past 13 years (lucky number 13) - white, puffy, blingy - everything that those wedding magazines do the best.
But, Esther Walters, the owner and principal Bridal Consultant decided to change direction of the company. Seeing that wedding styles, tastes, visions and traditions are not always what's seen in bridal magazines. Esther took a big leap into more of what is the "black sheep" of wedding planning ~ alternative, non-traditional and off-beat weddings. That means all those seeking a different take on their own wedding like: punk, gothic, rock 'n' roll, vintage, retro, steampunk and those beautiful hardcore freaks - can be catered to and not questioned about who you truly are.
Monarch Weddings & Events is a full-service bridal consulting, wedding planning, wedding coordination & event design firm that can plan a themed baby shower, a costume party to the most grandest of weddings. Monarch is known for it's style and flair of creativity, design and personalized customer service.
Monarch Weddings & Events is a home-based business - no renting a business office and all the other overhead to pay out. You strictly get Esther (the main Wedding Vixen) her smarts on weddings and events, her help on your day and maybe an assistant or two. And you get one heck of a day to enjoy as you please. We're "affordable" - don't say we're "cheap!"

About the Esther...
Esther Walters, PBC (Professional Bridal Consultant) is the principal and owner of Monarch Weddings & Events.
Before the "Weddings", Esther was a Medical Transcriptionist, but planning parties and events for family, friends, colleagues and acquaintances came second nature to Esther. At a young age, Esther always helped her Mom's parties or potlucks. Boy! Those were the days when coordinating events were simpler days.
When Esther was planning her own wedding in 1996, she wanted to know everything about weddings to make her own wedding a flawless and enjoyable event. She still stressed out about the wedding day so she started her research in the wedding industry, just another way of saying she stayed up day and night reading and talking to everyone and picking their brains. By the way - her wedding was fabulous!
From there on, Esther started helping her friends and coworkers and their friends with wedding and party planning and imparting her knowledge to those who were fortunate. Later, the transcription gig was dropped because there were too many weddings and parties to do. The more weddings and parties lead to more experience and grew into a knowledge and a big heart passion in the wedding and events industry. Esther then decided to take her knowledge to a higher level, so she had to go back to school (and this time, school was fun) and became a certified Professional Bridal Consultant through the Association of Bridal Consultants (ABC) and is a current member and is also a current Member of the Association for Wedding Professionals International (AFWPI).

Esther lives in Sierra Madre, California with her husband and two children.
